13 Things Mentally Strong Women Don't Do Own Your Power Channel Your Confidence and Find Your Authentic Voice for a Life of Meaning and Joy Audible Audio Edition Amy Morin HarperAudio Books Reviews

  • Powerful!! Just a positive and affirming shot in the arm read on how to stay focused and mentally strong. Amy gives timely tips on steering away from negativity, communicating via social media, being mindful of your self talk and steering your life's course. She seems to put into words what my intuition is trying to tell me, and backs it up with no-nonsense research. Her first book on mental strength helped me get through a terribly difficult time. And the fact that she started writing after tragedies in her own life gave me much needed hope. The audio book became my lifeline since I had no time to read and her tools were invaluable. I recommend her books to anyone looking for great, easy, empowering advice!
  • After reading 13 Things Mentally Strong Parents Don't Do (which I loved), I was so excited to read 13 Things Mentally Strong Women Don't Do - and again, Amy Morin doesn't disappoint. Her writing is excellent - by incorporating true stories of women and research, she helps you navigate the struggles that many of us have had challenges with over the years. Whether it's maintaining the perfect life (both in family and career) or worrying about what others think - women constantly can be hard on themselves. 13 Things Mentally Strong Women Don't Do gives you tools to gain confidence, make better choices and become your authentic self -- and be happy about it! Thank you Amy. I'm confident many women are going to be inspired after reading this book.
  • I recently borrowed from the library. If you want the answers to your problems this book has all the solutions and they are fairly easy to follow. I am purchasing this book soon, so I can take notes to build myself up with Amy’s tools. Definitely one of the best books to have and to pass along.
  • This is a great book, I couldn't put it down. The exercises are a real bonus, they really helped me get out of my own way to become a stronger more self assured woman. I highly recommend this book to all women who want to live a happier and more fulfilling life. Our culture is hard on our gender and this really helped me to cope with all that "stuff" out there that can really drag you down sometimes.
  • I picked up this book not knowing who Amy Morin was or ever reading her previous work. The titles of the chapters sounded like something I needed to read and my therapist agreed. My favorite thing about the book was not only that Amy gives you tangible tips you can actually implement right away but she also uses real life stories that relate to each topic. I had too many takeaways to count! This book was on of the best I've read in a long time! Thank you, Amy for your work and your message. Every woman needs to read this!
  • AMAZING! This book was empowering, convicting, and all-around wonderful. As a recovering people-pleaser, many of the habits listed in her book were things I often struggle with. Amy’s knowledge, wisdom, and compassion found throughout the book helped reshape my mind and both prepare AND inspire me to be “mentally strong.” I won’t read this book just once! 🙌🏻
  • I just finished this book and it is amazing. I have been reinventing myself in behavior and thoughts and becoming a strong woman and this book opened my eyes to so many bad habits. I am owning it all!!
  • Amy is a brilliant author with an ample amount of wisdom to contribute to society. Through her professional career in the field of mental health and tragic personal experiences every word that she writes is a great piece of life value and I highly recommend anything she publishes.
