• A lot of people have asked the question, “What happens when we die?” and many have tried to answer it. Author Patricia May reveals her answered through poem and colorful pictures. She sights from physical body to heavenly spirit, from Earth space to Heaven space, leading to God’s special space.
  In a couple of the stanzas, it seemed like the words were forced, and therefore, did not flow naturally. The book presented May’s answer with poetic verses.
• Beautifully written. Stunning images. The "Rainbow Bridge" spread was my favorite. Highly recommended to put death and Heaven into perspective.
• A true and beautiful message for kids that are inquiring about death or heaven, or lost a loved one. Plus, interesting illustrations that make for good conversation!
• Beautiful, peaceful book.
• A tough topic explained in rhyme for children to easily understand. The illustrations promote wonder and peace. Lovely colors and scenes throughout.
• What Happens When We Die? is a wonderful book that can explain the death process and where we go in a child's vocabulary. It lets a child also feel we are not as far away as it seems. Every child's library should have this book!
• The author paints a beautiful picture of heaven with both her rhyming, lyrical words and the bright and colorful images. A great read for a child that recently lost someone dear to them and is trying to rationalize death.
• Great point of view for children to help understand life after death.
