Savage Possessed A Reverse Harem Urban Fantasy Adventure Twin Rivers Possession Book 2 edition by September Stone Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews

  • Such a wonderful series!!! Sophie has so many mysterious left to discovery and some unresolved issues with her guys that I can’t wait to find out about in the next book!!!!
  • Really enjoyed this book! I love all the characters and can't wait for the next one to see what happens next.
  • Sometimes, I find that the second book in a series fizzles out after any excitement built from the first. That wasn't at all the case here. While many of the relationships had a predictable path, I was a tangle of nerves throughout most of the book as our characters set out to complete Mother Nature's mission, faced unexpected odds, and ultimately found themselves at the mercy of some very interesting twists.

Much like the first book, while the main action of the story comes to a partial conclusion by book's end, this is clearly part of an overall series and won't be seen as altogether satisfying for some. Especially with an ending that has me waiting rather anxiously for the next edition.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
  • This so not your average boys meet girl, girl falls in love with "all" the boys and"just can't make up my mind" and then boys-girl form a Reverse Harem. (I know long explanation, but worth it, I promise). First off, Sophia is a magical null on a mission and her guys are all magically broken some how but all need her because of their brokenness **Warning approaching possible spoiler**
She doesn't form a romatic relationship with all 4 of her guys, though she does with 2; she doesn't even like 1 of them the majority of the time. This dynamic of mostly strangers coming together and feeling this connection between them, but not all of them feeling the connection the same, I really like this concept. By getting the benefit of varying characters' prosceptives on their growing feelings and struggles toward, not only Sophia, but each other, you start to see more depth of the characters. It is a nice change that I didn't even know I appreciated until I saw it was an option in the RH-theme. Definitely a story a eagerly look forward to following

  • In the second book of the series, Sophie and the men are on a quest. Mother Nature wants them to find Elowen. What will happen when they find the mage? Will they be safe from her magic? Will Mother get what she wants?

I found it interesting how the author was able to make each of the males very distinct. I was especially intrigued by Valor, the vampire. At the beginning, he was so withdrawn and penitent. You could sense the horror he feels at his past actions as he tries to atone in the tiniest of ways in all his actions and reactions. Hagan was also a surprise, especially at the end, but I won't ruin that for you.

The book has some issues with grammar, punctuation, and usage, but they do not distract from the story. If you enjoy steamy RH fantasy, this book could fill the bill.

I did receive a free copy of this book, but this did not affect my review.
  • I voluntarily read an arc of this book for an honest review. This is the second book in this series. September Stone has continued this book in the same vein as the first book Fire Possessed. Which was a great adventure with sweet relationships and conflicted characters. Everyone is looking for the mage Elowen to bring back the lost river and restore Valors conscience. But that’s where it changes. This book had plot twist after plot twist it’s amazing! It’s emotional and inspiring. I felt everything deeply as the characters were on their trek. Relationships develop, bonds are tested and the ending was absolutely awesome. I can’t wait for the next one!

  • Didn't see that twist coming, but I'm kinda glad since it makes so much more sense this way. Sorry! I know I'm talking in circles but I can't possibly give the plot twist away!

Let me just say if you liked the first book even a little bit then you must read book two! I really enjoyed book one but book two just took everything we thought we knew and dumped it on its head while at the same time bringing everyone together.

I loved the closing scene it was beautiful! My only wish is that it hadn't started under the vampires control...in my opinion that leaves a taint on something beautiful that shouldn't have any. But other than that I loved it and loved the book, and I absolutely can't wait for book two.
  • The reader gets a couple of really good revelations in this second book. It leaves you ready to read the next one right away. It was fun to read the second part of the adventures of Sophie, Cary, Hagan, Jonas and Valor. In personality, more people should be like Sophie as far as how she sees the humanity in others and treats them all like they have value. The what happened during a scene of the ending was pretty cool, can't wait to find out what happens when the characters all realize what actually happened that night...
