I have read this comic twice and love it. My personal favorites are from Scott Snyder, Kevin Smith, Denis O'Neil, Paul Dini, and the current Batman writers. This book also joins Action Comics that also celebrated its milestone issue last year as the longest running superhero books. Not only a collectors item, a celebration of Batman and his lasting universal appeal. Happy Birthday to Batman and to 1000 more issues.
